biopicture.jpegCarrie Rose is a qualified Early Childhood Teacher and the owner and Pedagogical Leader at Rosie’s Early Learning in Australia. Rosie’s has been awarded ‘Excellent’ Rating from the National accreditation body ACCEQA – one in only 49 nationally to receive this award of the 15,000 services. In 2015 Rosie's Early Learning was awarded ‘Service of the Year’ for Queensland from the Australian Family & Early Childhood awards and Carrie has been a finalist for Director of the Year in 2017 & 2018 of these awards. Carrie is a part of a research study ‘Exemplary Early Childhood Educators at Work.’ Exemplary Early Childhood Educators at Work is a three year study of early childhood educators across Australia. Researchers from Charles Sturt University (CSU),  Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and Rutgers University (United States) are leading an investigation of what it is great early childhood educators actually do.

Committed to the community of Logan, Queensland Carrie strives for better outcomes for young children. She is a member of the Logan Together Child & Family Chapter and Education Chapter influencing how children are viewed in Logan. Carrie is the lead facilitator of the Charter of Children’s Wellbeing to be developed and distributed across all of Logan businesses and organizations. This charter will work towards businesses and council engaging young children in decisions within the community.   In 2017 Carrie presented work at ‘The Future of Education’ in Florence and visited Geoffrey Canada’s work at the ‘Harlem Children’s Zone’ in New York City.

Professionally Carrie has engaged in 2 study tours to the Schools of Reggio Emilia (Italy) in 2000 & 2012 and presents the work of the children and educators at both Australian and International conferences.
